Mentor Mentee and IPhA Race Day 2013

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

"INTERNATIONAL DISH : UNIQUE, ELEGANT, SAVOURY" 

That's the theme for this year's Mentor Mentee Day. What is more exciting this time around is the event was held together with IPhA Race. Mentor Mentee Day remains with its joyous cooking competition since last year's, that put forth the hidden talent embedded in each and every student in the Kulliyyah.

International meals were the main things that every participants should be making in this competition. Myanmar. India. Indonesia. Sudan. Libya. Iraq. Pakistan. Palestine. Bangladesh. Egypt. Each of the nations was represented by our beloved lecturers, and of course there were the "aces" of the cooking there.

And at the same time, under the shines and the heat of the sun, few teams of students were running here and there just for one aim. To win for their country they represented.

"Mas Taher bisa kan masak2 ni. Pasti boleh!!" sokong Dr Alfi

"Apa tengok2.!! Nak tiru resepi kitorang ek...??" kata Anis

"Sapa nak sangat tiru resepi dia. Kita punya lagi sedap kan2.." kata Nazierah
"Betul tu kak Ijan.."

"Korang ni gaduh je. Baik korang tengok aku ber-lesung batu ni.." 

"Hai. saya tengah kaler2 ni.. Cantik kan??"

"Mak!! Adik nak kaler2 jugak.." kata budak kecik tu..
"Nanti2 la. Mak tengah tengok Dr Alfi dan isteri dia buat resepi Indon tu"

"Ada orang ngintip kita masak bang.. " kata isterinya
"Jom. Kita tunjuk skill kita..." kata Dr Alfi

"Abang hayyie, sila beratur." kata budak2..
"Aduh!! Kacau la budak ni. Baru nak potong line.. haha"

"Hang masak apa ni Farid?? Nampak best je.." tanya Razeen
"Ni secret recipe. Takleh citer kat orang.." jawab Farid

Erk..

"Apa pula yang Dr May tulis ni? Dia tulis tulisan
Myanmar kasi aku baca ke?? Adeyai.." kata bro berbaju Myanmar
"Gasak la ko..." balas bro bertopi tu

"Abah.. Adik da lapar ni. Diorang ni lambat sgt masak!!"

"Perhatian kepada kanak2 sekalian. Sila siapkan
kaler2 anda terlebih dahulu sebelum makan ye.."

"Adik tunggu kejap deh.. Akak mira tengah goreng2 ni. Tungguuuu!!"

"Gini caranya buat makanan Sudan. Penat google resepi ni malam tadi" kata Lukman
"Waaah!! Bagus2. Boleh jadi calon orang gaji ni.. hehe" balas sis itu

"Asyraf!! Madam nak you masak ni elok2. Kasi sedap2 taw.." kata Madam
"Pulok doh. Aku mane la reti masak. Bale2~~" monolog Asyraf

"Asyraf nak kene masak?? Tidaaaak!!" respons Zali
"Ada jugak yang terpotong jari ni nanti.." monolog Hazirah

"Korang yakin ke apa yang korang serve ni boleh memuaskan hati kami??
Cuba rasa apa yang korang buat ni!!" kata Kak Sri

"Ni masalah besar ni. Susah betul nak tentukan pemenang. Haish.."

"What are they waiting for?? I'm starving right now!!" kata Dr Qamar
"Sabaq la Qamar. Aku pun lapaq gak..." balas Dr Saifullah

Those are the happy faces of our Pharmily. We may have some differences, and busied with our daily tight schedules. But when it comes to our Pharmily, we do have our time to the fullest. I can say that this time around, Mentor Mentee Day 2013 was a huge success. 

Congratulations to the organizing committees who had spent their time for the success of the program. (big clap!!!)

SRC 2013/2014 Election

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

In the midst of the business of Interbatch and the preparation for Mentor Mentee Day, Kulliyyah of Pharmacy students have never neglected their responsibilities despite the packed class schedule. The kulliyyah were represented by 4 truly dedicated and excellent candidates that will voice out for our needs.

Pangkah jangan tak pangkah...!!

The election went smoothly. Some classes were postponed and cancelled to compensate for the election. (Thanks Dr.. =D) The election was held at Office of the Campus Director (OCD) and the tense could sometime be felt somewhere. Starting at 9 and finished  by 5pm ++, thanks to the election committees who gave some extra minutes for voting

At around 8 o'clock in the evening, the result was announced. The YBs for the next tenure of SRC KOP 2013/2013 are

One thing that you need to know is that we will be and are always there to support you. Bring improvement to the Kulliyyah, IIUM and Ummah possibly. Best of luck and our du'a will always be with you. Amiin.

p/s: Arena politik kampus ni best sebenarnya. Pasni kita tengok apa yang akan berubah dalam UIA Kuantan.. *Alhamdulillah kali ni takde re-election..*

Interbatch 2013

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

Sparks with enjoyments. That's what can I say about the Interbatch 2013. The zealous games, overwhelming skills presented by each and every players, healthy bouts by every batch. What more can you ask!! It's indeed an enjoyment.

The adhoc information about the program at the early phase of the program was never a spirit breaker (pematah semangat??!!) to the committees. Yet, it was a booster for them to perform better. The plays by every batch had interpreted the meaning of teamwork and determination.

So, this year's Interbatch trophy goes to our batch, Rx11. (round of applause..!!!) Alhamdulillah. The dedication towards the games was indeed the secret recipe to our success. =) Here are some photos during Interbatch.

PRK Fever!!

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

Campus election has come again. And now it really sparks an indefinite feeling of anxious in each and everyone of us. This time around, Kulliyyah of Pharmacy is represented by 4 excellent candidates of Student Representative Council (SRC) for 2013/2014 session. In days to come, we as a 'pharmily' will be receiving our new leaders that will represent our voices, InshaAllah.

The excitement of the election is initiated with the Speaking Corner where it holds a platform for the candidates to present their manifestos. Here are some footage during the pre-election phase.

"Haish.. Diam2 la Farahi. Orang nak dengar depa

"Teringat zaman2 aku bentang manifesto kat sini.." bisik Zul..

"Aku takkan sia2 kan undi yang hampa bagi kat aku.."

"Senyum2 semua. Ada orang tangkap gambar kita ni.. huhu"

"Kami lah penyokong tegar sorang calon ni.  Sapa dia? hehe. Undi rahsia!!"

"Ketaq la lutut tengok depa2 ni berucap. Takpa2. Aku boleh!!"

That's only the beginning and many more to come to spice up. Though it's 1 day left, it does not break the spirit (patahkan semangat??!!) for the candidates to gain more and more trust from the students through their manifestos and campaign.
