Let's Improve Ourselves

Tayyib. 

It's been a while since we have been brought together by Allah during the White Coat Ceremony at the KOP Auditorium. From that moment, we pledge to follow the rules and regulations that we have oath-ed as pharmacists. And being in a crowd of more than 100 people is not an easy thing. Some might feel discomfort from the attitudes of that bunch of people.

WELL.

As the author of the blog, I might regard myself with things that have been posted in this blog. I do receive some compliments, and I do also hear some complaints (more of suggestions, I guess) in complementing this blog's constancy. To be straight, I've received some complaints regarding me doing the picture-taking of the Rx11 members, especially to the sisters. I've been taking pictures merely for the blog posts, and I DO filter some of the pictures, which they might look bad, I'll delete the pictures instantaneously. As for the sisters', I did take your pictures as to regard all of us as one batch.

However, as I've mentioned earlier, I did delete pictures that looked unpleasant. I only shared pictures that look OK, from my point of view. Since some of the 'members' (Sis only) that dislike their pictures to be taken and posted here, I'll delete the pictures having sisters on sight. I respect your request as a woman and my sisters in Islam. My apology for taking your pictures without permission. Yet, I really hope that this blog will not be fully-filled with brothers on camera only, but also among the sisters. We're One Big Family, huh?

Susah senang, sama-sama...

Second thing (perhaps my last point) is that we as a batch should work together accordingly. By means, all the work in making decision, solving problems, work behind the scenes, microphone settings, etc.. All workforce should be carried out together. By right, we should not only see brothers doing all the jobs, but sisters too. Of course, we don't ask sister to carry the whiteboard down for Dr Noriah's lectures. More of light thingies, lah.. ok? Together we work, together we serve the ummah.

Of my last paragraph, once again, I would like to seek for apology from all members of Rx11 for any wrongdoings and misunderstanding occurred. I want to emphasize here that this post is solely my own opinion. Not the opinion of the brothers in the batch. If there is any similarity, that's merely coincidence. In line with that, I wish to seek for any suggestions to better the blog and the batch, in any terms. InsyaAllah, Rx11 serves the ummah. Let's improve ourselves. =D

Futsal Time!!

Kaifa hal, guys? Good? Stress? Being zombie enough? Chillax yeah.. =D

Right after classes today, 22 brothers hung out for some futsal playing at Dewan Serbaguna near our place. Yeah. Only 22. The remaining? Biarlah rahsia~~ LOL.

Kereta batch?? =)

We played by ourselves. To tighten our brotherhood, you could say. As I  recall, this was the first event held by brothers as a whole batch. Indeed, there were some games played, inter-batch, inter-course, etc..  yet I don't think that those were the official ones.

Enough with the nagging story-ing.. Let's see some photos taken. Beforehand, I would like to apologize for the poor quality of the photos. Enjoy!!

Hari Khamis lepas, kami (baca: BROTHERS) ada join makan-makan dengan Dr Razak kat KoP. Sebelah surau. Dr Razak kan Chief Facilitator untuk kitorang punya study circle. So, beliau jaga brothers punya je..

Saja nak citer dengan hangpa semua. Dr Razak buat gather ni untuk bagi sikit lecture pasal Intro to Study Circle. So, kami start lepas maghrib, makan2, Isya', then lecture. Actually, takdelah lecture sangat pun. Lebih kepada Ta'aruf je. Citer2 sikit pasal study circle. Itu ini.

Best jugak sebenarnya kisah hidup Dr Razak ni. Beliau penah sekolah di St. John Institution (SJI : Setan, Jin, Iblis) <= Ini beliau kata sendiri ek. Then, beliau sambung degree Medic di USM under JPA. Actually, beliau nak amek course lain. Tapi, ketika itu JPA hanya offer Medic course. So, beliau harung je la. Pastu sambung Master in Pharmacology kat USM jugak, PHD beliau tak cerita pulak..

Tidur? Tak... 

Beliau ada cakap,

'Kalau ada sapa2 yang nak tau perbandingan kerja atau apa2 pasal medical doctor and pharmacist, I'm the best person to be referred to. Because I myself am a doctor, and I've worked with pharmacists in hospital.."

Labs Bash!

Ok. I don't think that 'BASH' would be the most appropriate word to describe this week of catastrophe Anatomy lab sessions. LOL. It just popped out. Yeah! Full 4 days of lab sessions (except for UNGS with Dr Tijani on Thursday) made me (read : Everyone) to be like a...

Yet, it's undeniable that the lab sessions were quite interesting and I was amazed. Smelling Formalin less that 5 feet from a cadaver wasn't a comfy thing to bear. You might sore your eyes (or was it only me?). And when you tell your seniors about this, they will say, "Biasalah tu..."

o.0  We are freshies. What do you expect? hmm..

By the way, no reports on anatomy and histology lab sessions (dumbfounded-ly). Alhamdulillah, since everyone was  finger-crossing, hoping for no report-doing. =)

Re-Election : Alhamdulillah

Alhamdulillah. The re-election went smoothly. Manual voting. Cross here and there (of course for exactly 2 candidates only). Since the author's schedule is quite pack tomorrow (as if like he's the only one having that kind of schedule.. LOL), he'll try to make it short.

Congratulations to Bro Zulhilmi Razali and Sis Farah Atiqah for winning the seats of Kulliyyah of Pharmacy for SRC 2012/2013 session. The only thing that we need from our new line-up of SRC is bring up IIUM Kuantan to a higher level, in terms of facilities, education, Islamization, etc... Educate the students of IIUM Kuantan to better their ukhuwah, studies and above all, the akhlak and faith towards Allah and Islam.

Re-Election, Guys!

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

Went voting for the election for the first time, and for the first time also, we will go for re-election. Hoyeah!

Due to some technical problems (as what they said and what we've been told), IIUM have to do a re-election for the SRC General Election, session 2012/2013. Kinda weird for me as the first timer. Yet, we can't do much. Follow the authorities.

So, tomorrow we will have the re-election process, which will be held at Office of Campus Director (OCD). The time allocation is not yet be specified, but 9 to 5 is for sure. So, let's pray for the best tomorrow (so that we will not be facing RE-RE-ELECTION . =D)

Lecture Note = Zombie

I can't remember the equation vividly. Yet, this appeared in my mind. If there's any mistakes in the equation, you might turn up into other creatures, aside from zombies! =)
